It’s time to make it official: the 5254 is being rebranded as the Shelford Diode Bridge Compressor.

First released in October 2020 as the “5254 Dual Diode Bridge Compressor”, this punchy, powerful unit has ALWAYS been a pair of Shelford Channel comps in one rack space. We’re changing the name to better reflect the circuit’s origins, but aside from the name on the faceplate, the rest of the unit – both inside and out – is identical to the TEC Award-winning 5254 many of you know and love.

Units begin shipping this month, and the price ($2999 USD / €2799 EUR ex VAT) isn’t changing either.

This tone-filled box has gained a bit of a cult following over the past few years, and we’re excited that it’s now an official member of the Shelford Family.
